Kyri moved through the dark undergrowth hunting for the gently luminecent fungi to mix
in her next batch of dyes, she heard a slight sound and readied for an attack, the noise
came from the other side of some bushes, she edged over and crept through the tangle of
plants, she saw the back a tall figure, he was stood behind a tree watching, waiting for
what seemed like and age she wondered what he was doing, someone else approached, slowly
the figure in front of her notched an arrow and drew back the string, the person passed by
hurrying along the track, a creature moved out of the shadows to follow them closing for
an attack, there was a whisper of sound and the creature colapsed with an arrow imbedded
through its heart,the sound of the beast hitting the ground made the traveller jump, the
tall figure watched as they fled away down the trail, stooping down the figure wrote
something in the mud and drifted quietly off across the trail, after retrieving the arrow
moved off into the forest.
In the mud was written "The Ghost. MAZUS" Kyri pondered for a while before simply adding
the letter "A", it now read "The Ghost. aMAZUS" she heard voices approaching from down the
trail and she retreated back into the quiet solitude of the forest, now back to finding
those mushrooms before daylight made it impossible to find them.
