Quite a few suggestions on one post here.
To encourage more activity around capitals, we need to make it more valuable. I understand some of these ideas are probably already in the works but I’ll open up a post to player suggestions anyways. Battle areas (PvP and PvE dungeon-type activities) with small rewards, markets/auctions, mini-monthly quests and some sort of zeppelin or hawk or mode of transportation for fast travel.
For fast travel, maybe we could build up something in our towns that would enable to us travel between there and capital? You’d have to look at ways of preventing abuse such as a banning system similar to caps and only x amount per faction - meaning admins would have to give permission?
It would be nice to create mini hubs in different areas and it would also be interesting for PvP defence (maybe mutuwa and razortooth would think twice about visiting fellowship cap 😜 )

Thanks Ragnar those are good suggestions: -Battle arenas in cap: definitely on the plan -PvE dungeon in cap: somewhat in the plan but haven'"t figured out how to do this yet -market/auctions: definitely in the plan -mini/monthly quest: challenge is to think of something new every month! -fast transport to cap: interesting idea, will give it some thoughts

I think an earlier sugestion about building roads was great, kind of like the bridge building I suppose, I recon any building work that requires a "team " to work on and leaves a mark on the landscape (Hey I helped do that!).
I would like to see caps open up more like a seperate mini map, have to walk to the shop, Healing hall etc.
Lots of caves and dungeons to get lost/killed in!
Some old ruins!
All takes work though and I appreciate you guys arnt getting paid!! Thanks

Giving this a bump for more suggestions now we have an influx of players! I’ll include my suggestion that I’ve posted separately of having an NPC in the capital that gives a stat/xp(?) boost which lasts x amount of hours. I think my favourite one here is the pve dungeon/event idea. You could only be inside for x amount of time with it having loot drops, decent xp, bosses, and maybe requires a group to complete? Maybe have different stage/skill dungeons so it’s not just for elite players? It could even be just a boss fight as an event once per x amount of days/weeks. The boss fight could even be in the arena? These suggestions would be to encourage players to visit the capital more often but at the same time hopefully avoid people spending lots and lots of time there to take away from the PvP aspect of the game. It would probably work better when people are forced to train in more contested areas speaking strictly from a PvP angle.

I like the idea of exploring ruins, caves, and dungeons. perhaps multiple dungeons could take place in the cap. They would have a separate map to explore in and could have a range of difficulties. Easy dungeons for newer players and harder dungeons for veteran players. This would also encourage players to hang around the cap since dungeons would offer a new challenge with rare mobs/materials/loot could only be found inside a dungeon or ruin.
