The elections for both capitals are opened (in the future the election time of both caps will not be at the same time).
We will try a voting approach that hopefully engage people a bit more in the voting process and increases interactions.
Here is the process:
1. Go to cap, accept the quest "Mayor Elections"
2. The quest gives you the names of the candidates and their voting speech as well as a voting ballot
3. Give the ballot to the candidate you have chosen
4. After seven days, the candidate with most ballots wins the elections
Rules:
-The mayorship mandate lasts 2 months
-The elected mayor receives a leadership XP bonus. The amount will depend on the number of ballots he/she receives. The more ballots, the more XP.
-To win the elections, the candidate needs to have more than 50% of the total number of voting ballots that have been issued! That means if a player accepts the quest and does not give the ballot to anyone, it counts as a blank vote.
-Freefolk can vote in any cap that they are not banned from.
