Annual tournaments
Four player tournaments will happen every year. They will be unequalled opportunities to get awesome rewards and massive bragging rights.
Warrior Tournament - 1 day
This is the most classic and straightforward event. All participants meet in the arena for a tournament to see who is the best fighter of the year.
Boxing Tournament - 1 day
Very similar to the classic tournament, except characters will not wear any armor and will only be able to use fist weapons.
Survivor Island - 1 week
Battle arena style. All participants are droped on an island. Last one standing wins. Characters are at first completely naked so it will also test their ability to survive using general skills to craft basic armors, weapons, healing and buffing items.
The event will happen once a year. We will alternate between an individual version and a squad (three people per squad) version.
Crafters Championship - 1-2 days
This event will be a competition among crafters. It will test the participants skills for 3 or 4 skills (it will not always be the same ones every year) and the most skilled and efficient ones will be rewarded.
Idea for the future: spirit arena
Maybe a pokemon-style duel feature with spirits! (But that's really long-term)
The first tournaments will start in the second half of 2019. We will let you know at least 6 weeks in advance before each competition.
Of course those events will be in addition to other events (armies, locust events, faction quests etc).
