Currently their are fire runes that help deal damage on weapons fire resistance on armor and slice defense on shields.
Maybe if other rune types are added they could add attack power on weapons. (Giants would then rune their trainers) but it would also be a nice balance cause runes that add flat damage are better are high races that hit often, but high damage races that dont hit +5 damage every 5 rounds is 1 damge per round. While if a someone hits often 4/5 rounds +5 damage a round is averaged at 4 damage per round.
