Game Update 4 April 2019
Some of the points below have been active already but we thought it would be good to have a summary of all recent updates.
Armor/Shield/Weapons
-Recipes for tier2 and tier3 shields and armors were updated
-Recipes for tier4 and tier 5 shields, armors and weapons were added
-Shields have recevied a little boost (both in DP and in protection)
-Stats of some armors have been fine tuned as well
-The new recipes include some new ingredients that have been added to the game, like Ivory, Spidersilk and Sacred Wood. Those items will be dropped by specific monsters (see below).
Mayor elections
Two new encounters were added (be careful when travelling, they replaced easy encounter areas).
With Mammoth/Mastodon spot, that will make three very strategic encounter areas because they will drop materials that is required for tier4 and tier 5 weapons/armors/shields.
From top to bottom:
New portraits
Four new portraits have been completed: the two last males and the two first females:
Male Nuruk and Male Leafborn:
Female Norsk and Female Leafborn:
Remember to hit Ctrl+F5 if the old pictures are still showing to force the change in your cache images.
Training with a master
You can train any of your general or weapon skills with another player who has a better skill than you. That person needs to be set as a master.
For every turn that you spend on your master, your master has 10% chance to lose 1 turn as well (if you spend 8 turns, your master has 80% chance of losing 1 turn. If you spend 200 turns, your master will lose more or less 20 turns).
The XP/turn is equal to 5 times the ratio between the master's skill and the traineee's skill. (5*master_skill/trainee_skill), BUT:
-training is capped for generals at 12xp/turn
-training is capped for weapon skills at 6xp/turn
Dragons
Just a small reminder that from now on:
Quest
Miscellaneous
Bugs
Hope you enjoy the changes!

Dragons
Just a small reminder that from now on:
- The spawn location on the map is completely random.
- The spawn frequency is also random (2 to 5 week intervals).
- The dragon will move on the map. The frequency, distance and direction of these movements are random (but sometimes related to one another).
- You can try to follow the dragon's movement to study how these different elements are related.
- The movements are somewhat limited (the dragon will never cross the whole island in one jump).
- Wherever the dragon moves, it attacks automatically anyone who is on the tile.
Quest
- Fauna Atlas volume V is now available in capital. Required main weapon skill is 300.
- Agatha's Cure quest will open in a few days.
Miscellaneous
- A new map import script is now launched automatically every hour. This means that we can change the map and import it immediately, giving us more flexibility and responsiveness when it comes to map updates.
- Sulfur can now be found in tiles adjacent to lava. However the explore rate is much smaller than on the actual lava tiles.
- We will soon add lava encounters (spoiler: XP will not be great) who will require about 300 main skill, so please leave any lava spot asap if you are less than this skill.
- I remind you that a lottery is ran frequently on the game's discord (you can access via Game Chat in your main page). It takes only one click to sign up to the lottery and the rewards are very interesting!
- Stonecutting formula was changed.
- Monster spawn rate on roads is now 10%.
Bugs
- Crafting XP bug: there was a bug where you would not level-up correctly when crafting. This is now fixed.
- Session logout: it was not frequent but on some rare occasions some players had issues logging in and they would aways be immediately logged out. We finally found the root cause of this and it is due to their computer's clock not being set to the right time. If you ever hear someone having this issue, make sure to tell them about it! Fixing up the computer's clock fixes the problem.
Hope you enjoy the changes!
