Hello, I have just started playing and I don't know if its already on a to-do list somewhere, but I would like to see more information coming out from the combat log. Off the top of my head, being able to see what weapons were being used would be nice to know (<X> slashes at you with his <weapon name> for <damage>). Other things such as any impact from armour blocking damage, the range of your damage hit (eg the combat message changing whether you got a hit at a 'good' spot at the maximum range), and rough info on the current state of the enemy (they look wounded, they are slightly wounded, near-dead etc.,). Further abilities to change combat style on the fly would also be cool, such as maybe when you are at low health you can toggle a 'defence' position where you prioritise mitigating attacks at the expense of offensive capability. Anyway, game looks like it has great potential so can't wait to see what happens in the future.

I think altering the fight log too much will make it a little confusing to read. The use of different phrases and for example colors should not be overdone. What is an alternative to that is to be able to mouse over your enemy name and get some info in a popup like if I get in my inventory on the paperdoll. If I mouseover my shield I get the stats of my shield. If I mouseover my enemy name I could for example get info on weapon and armor. Not necessarily full info like Poignard but only the info Dagger. The amount of information could be modified by skills or stats. If I were a good Swordfighter I would probably know which exaxt sword my opponent uses. Not so much if he used an axe.

An option could be, as i agree that to much info can be confusing.to have the option of complex or simple fight log.
