How can I craft an Amethyst Mana Ring that need 40 sorcery skill if I can't "store" a Royal Cobra spirit that need 185 sorcery skill because my sorcery skill is lower than 185 ?

does seem a bit low skill would be more realistic to need 185 skill to craft
I think all the recipes are like that, need more skill to catch the spirit than work the spirits into objects which seems the wrong way round to me |

Its good like this, as once you get the spirits needed you can craft it right away.
If it needed the skill of the highest spirit, you would need to wait 50 more skill for 100% craft rate.

thats true, I hadnt thought of it that way  , it just seemed a bit odd to me but then the morecan be made the more likley they are to be used and not gather dust in peoples towns |

Wrestling a spirit into submission takes skill, effort, mental strength, and a bit of luck, but once controlled they are easy to manipulate, and so making the crafted item is simple compared to catching.
