Following on from the questions and answers about intel and transparency, could we please have a little more information on the damage bonus given by strength? I know it’s very early doors but my concerns are with the amount of misses during fights due to only receiving a 1 AP 1 DP bonus for str vs 2 AP/DP for agi.
The idea of camp training (for weapon skill) seems almost pointless if you’re a high str low intel/agi character and I gained much more in my first day on the boat training solo than training with others since then.
My only assumption is that you have not opted for a 2 AP 0/1DP bonus for strength is because of PvP implications when higher damage weapons come in to play; signalling a significant damage increase?

Your missing is not mainly due to your strength/agility difference (which is still not high for the moment) but more to the fact that monsters have higher defense now. In stax when training in a zone at your level, your hit rate is 99%. In Agonia it is more around 75-80%.
For the moment the TEMPORARY formula is simple, AGILITY is basically equal to 2 skills and STRENGTH to 1 skill. In addition, strength adds more damage when you use a higher end weapons as well but the formula is super complicated and takes into account many parameters.
We are working on a new formula for agility and strength to effect hitting and dodging rates. This new formula will make it so that strength and agility have the same importance in fighting for the long-term (the current formula we use is fine now but it would get deregulated after one or two years). For training, agility will still be better but this is compensated by the fact that high-strength-low-agility races are also high-HP races, so they can withstand much more hits than their high-agility brothers.
