I tried to solve this and keep it as quiet as possible to not further embarass anyone or any faction but there are so many troublemakers that like to complain about it and spread false information even though they know none of the facts, that in the end this was backfiring on both me and the actual victims of the cheat.
So I have no choice but to make an official post on this issue and make the key facts public.
We have been extremely busy working on developments of the game for everyone's enjoyment. This doesn't mean that we forget that one of our priorities is to provide everyone with a cheat-free game.
Doing anti-cheat is by far the worst part of managing this game. I lost a full day yesterday + this morning because of this, and that is all time that could have gone into development instead.

- The character Dave was created by someone who is friend IRL with some fellowship players and was being used as an informer as he had access to all forsaken conversations.
- It has been ongoing for several weeks. I had a very strong suspicion a few weeks back, but I was only 95% sure, and I only act when I'm at 100%. I knew who was getting the info, I knew where it was coming from, but I didn't know who was giving it. This is a warning to all potential cheaters, the day i'm coming to you with something, don't waste any time denying it, because you know i'll be at 100%.
- Yesterday, all evidences came together and there was absolutely no doubt anymore. At least four character kills (three if you exclude Dave) were caused directly by information provided by Dave. This has been proven AND confessed.
- One of those situations actually caused forsaken to abort their attack on the camp of 4 fellowships. As Forsaken were moving in position, Dave warned his friend about the 4 forsaken coming from the North and 2 from the south. This allowed fellowship to kill the 2 south before the others could do anything. Dave also told forsaken the camp had 6 people to (I guess) discourage them from attacking. So reality is that these 4 fellowship players would have died yesterday with all their equipment and loot if it wasn't for the foulplay.
How it ends:
- The three characters that died got their lost weapon skill back and their lost gear
- Dave is deleted
- The player receiving the information from Dave received a one week freeze and a strong warning. The line between foulplay and cheating is very blurry and we are in the darker grayzone here. Also the player was being honest when confronted with the evidence, otherwise it would have been a permanent freeze.
