I was thinking about a possible solution to help crafters save turns and also people get items made quicker.
My suggestion to see if it's possible to create a master and apprentice system for crafting.
The thought behind this is:
Master - Main crafter of x item. Apprentice - Secondary crafter of x item but will need 50 to 75%+ of the skill requirement to craft the item.
Master - will use x amount of turns. Apprentice - will use y amount of turns.
Master and apprentice receive the experience for their turns used.
Example: Gothic Plate - 500 in Blacksmith and 240 turns.
Master - 140 turns to craft Apprentice - 100 turns to craft and in between 250-375 BS skill.
The goal is to help crafters not be inundated with orders where they can't do anything else. This will also help other BS increase their skill level or have the person wanting their item get them quicker. And let's face it, crafters after 550 don't need the experience anymore.
Any thoughts, changes, feasibility?

I like the Idea.
This reminds me of a vid I watched- the Master making a sword and the apprentice hitting the heated metal as the master directed together acoplishing the work far quicker and more efficiently than the master could have alone
