Hello, new here so i may be missing something but...
I noticed today the Woodlands I was hunting in (Tier 2) had decreased significantly in size from the map I received as a new player.
So, do woodland squares, not paved over by roads, regrow? If not, how long until woodlands are completely wiped out? What happens when there are no more T-2 Forest squares available to complete a quest?
Thanks, Elkhorn

Currently forests and mountains that are terraformed do not regrow, and it's likely that won't be an automatic process, if it's one at all in the future.
However, this is not a large concern overall. Mayors need to approve any terraforming done in their territory, so this would be the first check to fully losing the biome in the first place. No matter how many log piles are made, if the mayor doesn't approve it, it doesn't happen. This also means your enemies can't sabotage your territory. There's also many duplicate areas for the lower level fauna quests on either side of the map.
Second, the admin team isn't likely to allow something that newcomer unfriendly to happen permanently, even if the players do that to themselves. This is unprecedented of course, but messing with nature that much on your half of the island would realistically cause multiple predator-prey relations to change, and a fauna location shift to occur.
Rough terrains like mountains and forests get cut by players for a few reasons, mostly movement related, but the players making the decisions do so with the quest targets in mind and so far have left them unaffected.
