Easter Cassowary Eggs
Every year in the beginning of Spring, is the Egg-laying season of the Agonian Cassowary. Cassowary eggs are known to be exquisite and delicious, one of the finest gourmet ingredients in the island. Restaurants in Exodus and New Heaven are ready to pay hefty sums for a dozen of those eggs.
Where it gets interesting, is that the male cassowary tends to eat the female's eggs, in order to kill any possible offspring that could later encroach on its territory. It is a cruel evolutive trait that has developed over time. Therefore females tend to go in forests outside of the typical cassowary-forests to lay the eggs far away from the males, before going back to their natural habitat. This is when you can find the Cassowary Hens and their valuable eggs hidden in any forest, and supply the connoisseurs of Agonia!
