Mastotermite Valentine's Day 2022 - Results
Recently we concluded the first run of our new seasonal event, the Mastotermite Mating Season Hunt!
These lovely creatures are subterranean for the majority of their lives, but once they finally emerge for their yearly mating season, they make quite the ruckus as experimenting sorcerers and adventurers in search of profit chase them across the landscape in hopes of capturing their unique and rare spirits.
The rewards for participation are largely solo-based and participation generates value on its own instead of your placement on the leaderboard, similar to the Cassowary Egg hunt, and this is meant to be a calm and peaceful monster hunt focused on Sorcery! Players obtained 1 point and 300 gold for each Mastotermite Drone spirit, and 20 points and an Ancient Relic for every Mastotermite Queen spirit. We've recorded a kills leaderboard mostly for posterity sake, kills had no value on their own other than a hefty chunk of combat XP and more attempts at a spirit, though someone with 2-3x the spirit catch rate and only half the kills would on average do much better!
Final Results
In this event we saw the Order with an impressive showing, taking the top spots with quite the gap! Congratulations to Thebiggerone for first place!
