Similar (albeit briefly working back then) to how original TPS had the option to download and store images and pages for local user access instead of downloading everything constantly.
Could help for those out there with cellular bandwidth limitations, slow remote satellite access, or even some greedily capped dsl/cable/fiber ISPs.
