Game Update 10 February 2019
Spirits, Gems, Rings and Talismans
The sorcery system is now released!

General Courses at Ancients Monastery and Crafters Guild
In addition to the skill-specific courses you can now also use a relic for a general course:

Trader NPCs
Trader NPC chars (Amazonia and Ebayonia) are now in each of the capital. They'll have several things to sell. The daily stuff like hides, bones etc are on purpose a bit expensive to not compete too much with player gatherers/crafters. More items will be added in the future, including some that will be only available from them in exchange for gold.
New tribe profile
Say hello to the new Giant profile pic:
Badass right? Leafborn, Kiith, Mythos and Nuruk will be made in the coming weeks by our artist Griswald.
Coding team
Dreadlock has joined the coding team to help us fix all those pesky bugs.

Fauna IV and Ice Explorers quest
The new Fauna quest is open in your capital, as well as the Ice Explorers quest. Required skill is 220 and 250 respectively.
Lightfoot swimming
A recent study showed that 36% of the Megalodon population in Agonia suffered from high-cholesterol and experts point to their lightfoot diet as the reason.
To avoid unwanted swimming, we removed the natural walk-on-water and added a spell.
Also we noticed that newborn lightfoot had a tendency to run straight towards the ocean for some strange reason we have no identified yet.
The spell costs no mana of course. Existing lightfoot will have to learn it by using the 'Search a spell' option. It takes about 120 turns but then you'll have it for a lifetime.
(Move cost with spell atm is 20 but we will increase it to 350).
River encounters and explores
Rivers now have explorable items:
Rivers now have an encounter in them also, so be careful. The spawn rate is half of other terrains and the creatures there probably require a solid 200-250 skills. The XP of the spot is of course not really good because of the high quality items that can be found there.
Discord lottery
Remember that we have a discord channel? discord.gg/6qAqyRp
There is a Giveaway bot in there who every day will spawn a lottery to win freebies (gold, ancient relics, rings, weapons etc). It takes only one click to try your luck (look in the #daily-lottery room).
Player survey
We will soon send all players a link to a survey to start collecting some initial feedbacks. Please take a few minutes to fill it out as it's your chance to impact how the game will evolve.
Wiki
Emiliana has done a great job building a Walkthrough guide for new players. In addition we would like to set-up a wiki for the game. If anyone has experience with this and would like to lead it, please PM me.

General Courses at Ancients Monastery and Crafters Guild

- Ancients Monastery: 600xp in Seeking/Fleeing/Sorcery/Alchemy/Runic
- Crafters Guild: 600xp in Masonry/Stoneworking/Woodworking/Balcksmithing/Tailoring
And yes, 5x600 = 3000 so you get a small bonus going the balanced way (it's easier to improve a bit in everything than a lot in one specific thing).
Annual player tournaments
In addition to storyline events (armies, locusts, faction quests etc) that are planned, we will also have four player tournaments that will happen once a year each:Annual player tournaments

- Askytos: 20 votes (52.6%)
- Azathoth: 0 vote
- Blank: 18 votes (47.4%)
- The mandate of each mayor is 2 months
- Mayors will be appointed to their position in the coming days
- Each candidate wins 50xp in leadership for every vote they received (even if they didn't win)
- A candidate receives a 1000xp bonus in leadership the first time he/she is elected as mayor
- Emilana gets 3050xp and Askytos 2000xp.
- Mayors receive the key to the city, which is a talisman giving +50 leadership (not so useful for now but will be in the future)

- Gold nuggets: only way to get gold in Agonia
- Muddy gemstones: clean it up and see what it is, it can be an amethyst, a ruby, an emerald, a sapphire and there's even an extremely small chance for a diamond but also good chances that it's... nothing at all but a muddy stone.
- Both items are off course extremely rare to find. There is no minimum seeking required but it of course helps a lot to find them.
